Student Fee Board

Our Mission

The NSCC Student Fee Board is a panel of diversely selected students whose responsibility it is to wisely direct student funds.

Mindfulness

Seek and value all voices, loud and quiet to ensure that we are informed when considering the impact of our actions.

Innovation

Advance and inspire the diverse academic foundation established by our school through funding services that enhance the productivity and quality of the educational experience.

Leadership

Take the lead on facilitating continual improvement of existing programs by informing ourselves of student needs.

About Us

The Student Fee Board  is composed of eight students and two non-voting ex-officio advisory members.  This year’s committee membership includes the following:

Request Funds

Check which fund is appropriate for your project then use the forms at the bottom of the fund’s page to submit your request.

Universal Technology Fund

UTF dollars are allocated to technology related projects and programs that serve the student body. Students pay the Universal Technology Fee, $3 per credit (a maximum of $30/semester) in addition to tuition.

Students and Activities Fee

S&A Fees are used primarily for programs that support student learning and achievement. S&A Fees are paid through tuition at a rate of $8 per credit.

General Fund

The general fund is a reserve fund available for use year-round.  There is no usage requirements, however, it is primarily used for clubs, unexpected expenses, and one time purchases. The General Fund constitutes 3% of S&A Fees, therefore it is also already a part of tuition and not an additional fee.
