Summary
- Jack talked about the “Student Focus Groups” and the investigation they are going to do in November. This investigation will help them to focus on what is the major concern within the campus. Marci suggested that there should be somewhere telling students why they are doing this investigation. Rich and Sabina suggested that the questions should show caring for students, not be vague and be broken down to smaller questions. Jack will print out 200 cards about the “Student Focus Groups” and use them in the Welcome BBQ.

Richard suggested we should reopen applications for students to serve on the three committees that don’t have student representatives. He may update the cabinet application forms and hire 3 people for the above positions. It is suggested that we should notice applicants who is not recruited that we will store their files and inform them ASAP when we have new opening in the future.
Aaron will forward specific information about Legislative conference to everyone, needs to set a deadline (probably 14th) to register for the meeting.
Michael will interview with Alan 10-11 (after the cashier window) about the text book exchange issue. Anyone will be welcome to come. He wants everyone to look at the structure of our website and see if there needs to be any change about it. If anyone wants to put something on the bar sections, talk to Rich and Michael.
Helen will send everyone the most updated version of the documenting guideline and checklist of Welcome BBQ. She will take the responsibility for the Facebook posting monitoring. We agree on making announcement in front of the class to promote our facebook account.
Alexis will talk to Allan about the student center tomorrow (time is not fixed).
Public meeting: It’s Mandatory for SAC members and cabinet members.
Cindy proposes a special board just for ads for textbook.
