Essay Contest! - The Loft Writing Center

The Loft Writing Center is holding an essay contest this Fall quarter. Below is the information and an image of the application. At the bottom of this post is also link to the PDF format of the application so you can download it, print it, fill it out, and enter! The Loft Writing Center - Essay Writing Contest
Tell us your story through a personal narrative essay. It can be about any topic of your choice.
Turn in the essay to the Loft Writing Center on the 2nd floor of the library building by November 2, 2008 at 6:30pm. Winners will be announced the first week of December.
The first place winner will receive $100 and be published in the Licton Springs Review. Second place will receive $75 and third place $50.
Please review the following guidlines before submitting your text:
Your essay must be:
- Double spaced
- 12 point font
- No more than 3,000 words
It must not contain:
- Your name
- Your instructor’s name
All submissions will be judged anonymously by a panel of NSCC staff.
