Position: Student Fee Board Manager & Student Cabinet Coordinator
What do you hope to contribute to the student body?
As the Student Fee Board Manager and Student Cabinet Coordinator my main goal is to bring awareness to how student money is being spent and to facilitate communication on how that money can better serve the student body. It is my hope that through our student led campus committees we can introduce programs and address issues that really matter to the students here at NSCC.
What do you most desire to see change or grow at North?
I would love to see greater student empowerment. I’m not sure that all of our students realize how important they are and how much of a difference they can make in the future and today! Students are the heart and soul of this institution, we drive its existence, and we have the power to do much more. I believe that through information, communication, and action students will be inspired to make their own decisions about where they want our college to go and will feel empowered enough to take us there.
Personal Statement
As a full time student working towards an associate of business degree I do not have as much free time as I would like. I go rock climbing at Stone Garden three times a week, enjoy reading (my favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marques), working in my garden, and believe it or not watching Star Trek.
