How/What do you hope to contribute to the student body?
I hope to begin the year with bringing in my background as an auditor to examine our school district and states involvement with North. By doing so I hope to gain a better understanding of our educational systems, how they affect our lives at North, and bring this information back to the student body. I believe by better understanding our schools policies and procedures we can use that information to our advantage as students.
What do you most desire to see change or grow at North?
Growth in student presence in the Administration processes and decision making is something I most desire to see grow. Our influence on campus life can be a stronger one, and I would love to see our voices as students not only be heard but listened to. I would also like to see more student to student programs develop, being there for one another can only make our lives at North that much more enriching.
A few hobbies of mine are cruising Craig’s List Free Stuff, cleaning, I know its strange, but I enjoy listening to my IPOD and mopping the floor! But most of all, watching movies with my husband, dog and cat…all on the same couch!
A few achievements I am proud of include event planning for the Beat the Bridge Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, AmeriCorps, where I helped clean up a state park, and running my first 8k!
